Porfolio > Asymmetry

The audience is invited to enter the gallery room walking on the tezontle stones, which is a bit hard since is a bumpy surface. When the audience walks in the sound of a crunch from the breaking of the stones is combine with the constant rhythmic sound of a metronome on the back.
The idea behind this installation is the in a way, the metaphor of the life of someone with a mental disability. Bumpy to walk, with a constant idea of time running out and at the end the resting point of a psychiatric couch. where people can watch, hear and rest, but at the same time feel isolated.
