Porfolio > Appropriation of imaginary spaces

"Appropriation of imaginary spaces" is a series of pieces that explore ideas about change in the public space, projecting it as a place that is both chaotic and utopian and in which fictitious interventions through engravings generate a contrasting landscape between "natural" and "urban".
Using cardboard boxes of baked tortillas, the piece reuses familiar and everyday materials, deploying them as incomplete buildings meant to register a versatile and always in-the-making experience of the city.
